health: improving - can breathe and swallow without pain

social: lame like a lame thing. My lovely parents bought my family tickets to "Walking with dinosaurs: the live show" and I was so sick I had to give my ticket to my nephew. Josh and I have been having rollerblading lessons. Next week we have our star-grade tests. Josh is star 1: to pass he needs to be able to start, do a t-stop, do a safe crash, and a couple of simple tricks. I got extra words last night after reporting in, and my morning session romped in at 1000 in just over an hour and a half. I'm really enjoying this challenge. Many thanks to the marvellous Mike for brainstorming for so many hours, so that the book is practically writing itself.

Couldn't sleep. I suspect the culprit is too much Pepsi during the brainstorming session. Got up at 1:00 am, wrote until close to 3:00 when I thought I could finally get back to sleep. 1094 words, mostly of bar scene. *thud*

It's been a tiring few days. Friday kicked my butt with its horrid humidity, and Saturday was spent helping Ken get ready to go to India and then my insane family went to a concert in the rain.
